The Restaurant Catering Coordinator will lead catering efforts in their respective market. Their primary role would be to support and serve the Operating Partner with their individual catering goals, as well as promote Bolay’s brand to support restaurant sales growth. Catering Coordinator will be responsible for local marketing efforts, brand promotions and campaigns. This role would work under the supervision of the Operating Partner.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage all Restaurant Catering activities across a single location including, but not limited to: increasing brand awareness, adhering to annual promotional calendars and developing, then executing, catering plans to include restaurant promotions that achieve sales, profits and business plan objectives.
  • Manages local content and grows social media presences by curating content and growing activity and engagement with the support of the Restaurant Support Center Marketing Team.
  • Identify, forecast, and execute sales-building initiatives, including identifying, planning, and executing grassroots and community relations opportunities.
  • Generates leads for local catering opportunities such as in-restaurant fundraisers, events, and off-premises activities.
  • Collaborate with the Operating Partner and Area Director for support tools and guidance on the execution of all local catering activities.
  • Work in support of the Operations team to effectively promote all brand campaigns and local catering initiatives.
  • Owns Catering Playbook and provides regular feedback and best practices on local activity and results.

Here’s Who You Are:

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Catering, Advertising, Communications or related fields
  • 1 year of experience within a restaurant or retail environment at the field level
  • Knowledge of brand building and sales-driving initiatives that are executed on a local level
  • A self-starter with strong organizational skills and work ethic (ability to work on your own)
  • Experience working in a team environment with the ability to influence internal and external decision-makers with great relationship-building skills
  • Have a Bolay attitude, able to meet team member commitments of self-responsibility, professionalism, and teamwork. 
  • Ability to work outside of the restaurant 50% of the time, or as needed or required for Catering activity
  • Highly interactive in social environments and on social platforms to promote the Bolay’s brand and products
  • Must have the ability to work independently and under pressure; requires self-discipline, time management, and must be able to meet deadlines and production schedules
  • Creative and able to communicate ideas visually, verbally and in writing
